Burbank Dentist That Accepts UnitedHealthcare Dental PPO
Magnolia Dentistry in Burbank accepts UnitedHealthcare dental PPO plans. How to read the network name on your card, check benefits on myuhc.com and plan treatment.

Magnolia Dentistry accepts UnitedHealthcare dental PPO plans. You can use your UHC dental PPO benefits at our Burbank office for checkups and cleanings, emergency visits, fillings, crowns, implant consultations and more. We check your specific plan before treatment and explain what it's likely to pay.
UnitedHealthcare offers dental coverage through employers, individual plans and some medical plans, and the details vary widely. The most useful piece of information is the network name printed on your ID card.
Find the network name on your card
UnitedHealthcare dental PPO plans use different network names depending on the plan. Employer guides refer to names such as National Options PPO 20 and National Options PPO 30, and tell members to search for dentists using the network listed for their plan (Broward County benefits). When you call our office, the network name, member ID and group number on your card are what we need to check your plan.
How in-network and out-of-network care compares
Like most PPOs, UHC dental PPO plans pay the most when you see a network dentist and still pay a benefit out of network on most plans. Out-of-network care usually costs you more, and some plans set a lower annual maximum out of network. One county's UHC plan, for example, lists a $1,500 annual maximum in network and $1,000 out of network (Broward County). Your plan may differ, which is why we check how it applies at our office before your visit.
UnitedHealthcare also offers dental HMO (DHMO) plans with no out-of-network coverage. Magnolia Dentistry accepts PPO plans only, and we don't accept government-funded programs such as Medi-Cal Dental.
Checking your benefits on myuhc.com
The myuhc.com website and UnitedHealthcare app let members view their dental ID card, look up network dentists, review coverage, estimate costs and track claims. Before larger treatment, note your deductible status and how much of your annual maximum is left, since major services are often limited by the maximum.
Using UHC dental PPO for the care you need
Routine care. Exams, cleanings and routine X-rays are usually covered at the highest level. A checkup and cleaning is also the best time to ask about any treatment you've been putting off.
Urgent care. For tooth pain, swelling or a broken tooth, call us first. We fit emergencies in the same day whenever possible, and the emergency exam and X-rays are typically covered under diagnostic benefits. See our emergency dentist page.
Restorative and implant care. Crowns, bridges, dentures and implants are usually major services. Implant coverage varies by plan and may be limited by alternate benefit and missing tooth rules; our guide to PPO coverage for dental implants explains how. Ask us for a predetermination before major treatment.
Cosmetic care. Veneers and whitening are generally excluded, though related restorative work may be covered.
